Fusione e confronto sono, da secoli, la ruota che permette l'evoluzione. La nostra missione è incoraggiare artisti, in particolare le danzatrici e musicisti, a radunarsi a Roma per sviluppare e condividere un ideale di comunità internazionale basata su tradizione e innovazione nella Danza Orientale.
In questo ambito artistico, l'incontro di svariati stili e di nuove esplorazioni artistiche ha dato vita a bellissime e incantevoli voci, sia individuali che di gruppo: American Tribal Style e Tribal Fusion sono il crocevia che ha cambiato il panorama della Danza Orientale nel mondo.
E' dalla consapevolezza di questi cambiamenti e dalla volontà di incontrarli, che nasce il Roma Tribal Meeting: primo incontro italiano che raccoglie l'idea del confronto e della fusione come opportunità di conoscenza e di crescita in questo movimento artistico: un momento in cui danzatrici e musicisti possano incrociarsi, contaminarsi, dare voce alle ricerche artistiche individuali. La prima edizione, nel 2010, è stata incantevole.
Nella sua seconda edizione, Il Roma Tribal Meeting offre ancora la possibilità sia a soliste che a compagnie di danza di confrontarsi in un panorama ricco e professionale, attraverso gli stages in programma e durante gli spettacoli serali in cui presentare le loro ultime creazioni.
Gli stages si terranno presso il San Lo', uno spazio creato per ospitare e promuovere eventi di danza e arte dallo sfondo multiculturale nel cuore di Roma (zona San Lorenzo).
Tutte le tribù sono invitate. A Roma, la belleza della danza diventa momento di crescita.

For centuries, the gathering of community has been the wheel of evolution.
We are encouraging artists to congragate in Rome with the idea of sharing and developing an International Community based on traditions and new innovations of Tribal Bellydance.
Within our Oriental Dance network, individual and group expressions give light to new styles and new artistic, captivating creations. American Tribal Style and Tribal Fusion are at the crossroads of change in the panorama of contemporary bellydance throughout the world. From this consciousness of change, we desire to harness and nurture artistic expressions during the Roma Tribal Meeting. It is the first gathering in Italy where ideas of authenticity and fusions are simply an opportunity to grow and become aware of this dance movement; a moment when musicians and dancers can collaborate and recognize their own artistic research.
The 2010 Edition was lovely. Now in it's second edition, the Roma Tribal Meeting offers the opportunity for artists and companies to be a part of a gathering through cohesive workshops and two separate shows of their most recent creations.
All workshops will be held in San Lo' Studios - a space specifically conceived to create and promote multicultural dance and art events. After more than seven years of offering an array of opportunities to the community, it has become a common place of congregation for dance in the heart of Rome.
All tribes are welcome and invited.
