:Francesca Pedretti: Italy

Si dedica professionalmente alla danza dal 1996. Approfondisce i diversi stili e linguaggi della danza orientale con maestri italiani e internazionali. Si indirizza verso la Tribal bellydance e nel 2005 fonda l'Associazione Les Soeurs Tribales, di cui è stata direttrice artistica e coreografa fino al 2009. Attualmente insegna e collabora con il centri 'Metiss'Art' e 'Il Mosaico Arti e Danze', e svolge il suo lavoro coreografico con la compagnia De Nova Luce. E' una danzatrice e un'insegnante di grande esperienza, generosità e originalità. Professional dancer from 1996, Francesca has studied diverse styles and languages of oriental dance with italian and international masters. She took to Tribal Bellydance and founded the troupe Les Soeurs Tribales in 2005, remaining an artistic director and main coreographer until 2009. Nowadays, she teaches and collaborates with the Milan studios, 'Metiss'Art' and 'Il Mosaico Arti e Danze', while developing her choreographic works with her troupe, De Nova Luce. She's a dancer and instructor with great experience, generosity and originality.

:Saada Tribal Group: Spain

Saada è la prima compagnia professionale di Tribal Bellydance in Spagna, con 12 danzatrici, musicisti e una cantante. Lo Stile Saada è un misto di ATS classico con il potere e il dinamismo della loro mentore Kerensa De Mars (nota danzatrice di flamenco e membro originale di FCBD). La compagnia è unica per le sue danze rituali e fusioni con il Flamenco, il Gypsy e altre tecniche orientali. Saada is the first professional Tribal Bellydance company created in Spain, with 12 dancers, musicians and a singer. Saada Style is a mixed of classical ATS with the power and dynamics of their mentor, Kerensa De Mars, a famous flamenco dancer and former member of FCBD. The company is unique in their ritual dances and fusions with Flamenco, Gypsy and other oriental techniques.

:Kimberly Mackoy: USA/UK

Artista incomparabile per la sua fluidità e grazia, Kimberly Mackoy ha studiato a lungo con Rachel Brice, Jill Parker, Frédérique David, Carolena Nericcio e Suhaila Salimpour. La sua danza mescola Old School e nuove tendenze con grande energia, originalità e perfezione tecnica. Le differenti influenze che ha subito regalano un aspetto di grande freschezza a tutte le sue creazioni. Unique artist by her fluidity and grace, Kimberly Mackoy has trained with Rachel Brice, Jill Parker, Frédérique David, Carolena Nericcio and Suhaila Salimpour. Her dance mixes Old School and new styles with high energy, originality and perfection. Her varied influences bring a refreshing aspect in her creations.

:Silviah: Italy

Inizia con la danza orientale nel 2002 a Milano. Dopo i primi anni di studio crea il suo primo gruppo, con il quale sviluppa la ricerca espressiva, il perfezionamento tecnico e la creazione coreografica. Dal 2007, sotto l'influenza di Ariellah (USA), si indirizza verso la Tribal Dark Fusion, che l'appassiona e la porta in viaggi di studio e approfondimento. L'esperienza vissuta nelle comunità Dark e Gotica la portano a organizzare Gothla.it il primo festival italiano orientato sul dark side of bellydance . Silviah began bellydancing in 2002 in Milan. After the first years of studying, she founded her first troupe developing expression, technique and choreographic works. In 2007, she was heavily influenced by Ariellah (USA) and began contouring her work towards Tribal Dark Fusion. She fell in love with this new style and started her studies through travel. Her experience with the Dark and Gothic community founded her desire to organize Gothla.it, the first italian festival oriented on the dark side of bellydance .

:Nakari Dance Company: Austria

Durante la loro collaborazione con la troupe viennese Wüstenrosen 'Desert roses', dedicata all' American Tribal Style, Doro Altenburger e Michaela Hamajova hanno deciso di formare un duo e portare le loro idee ad una nuova formazione: così è nata Nakari. Il loro stile ha svariate influenze, dalle arti marziali alla danza classica, dall'afro all'hip hop. Nonostante le incursioni in altri stili di danza che toccano il loro cuore , mantengono il foco nella Tribal Fusion, con solide basi ATS. Nakari riempe lo spazio per Nuovo Talento in questa prima edizione del Roma Tribal Meeting. As members of American Tribal Style troupe, Wüstenrosen 'Desert roses' from Vienna, Doro Altenburger and Michaela Hamajova collaborated their own ideas and created Nakari. Their dance style has many different influences; from Martial Arts, Ballet, West African dance to Hip Hop. They delve into other dance styles that 'touch their hearts', while keeping the focus on Tribal Fusion with a solid ATS base. Nakari fill in our 'New Talent' space in this first edition of Roma Tribal Meeting.

:Geneva Bybee: USA

Da una decade si dedica al Tribal Style con esperienza in ATS, Old School e contaminazioni con Hip Hop. Vive da anni una vita da moderna gypsy: sempre imparando, insegnando, viaggiando nello spirito di condivisione di idee e di construzione di una sorellenza internazionale intorno alla danza. Dancing Tribal for a decade with experience in ATS, Old School Tribal, and Fusions of Hip Hop. She's lived the life of a modern-day gypsy for years learning, teaching, traveling in the spirit of spreading knowledge and building an international dance sisterhood.

:Lara Rocchetti: Italy

E' socia fondatrice del San Lo', il primo spazio a Roma specificamente creato per accogliere e produrre manifestazioni multiculturali nel campo delle danze etniche e contemporanee. E' una professionista con grande esperienza nell'insegnamento della danza mediorientale (ha pubblicato due video didattici molto conosciuti in Italia), nonchè nell'organizzazione di spettacoli ed eventi a livello internazionale. Co-founder and co-director of San Lo' studios: the first space in Rome conceived specifically to promote and create multicultural events concerning ethnic and contemporary arts and dance. She is a professional dancer with a long history of performing and teaching (with two instructional videos noted in Italy), as well as organizing shows and events internationally.

:Carovana Tribale: Italy

E' la prima troupe a insegnare ed esibirsi in autentico American Tribal Style in Italia. La loro danza è interamente basata sui concetti dell'ATS creato da Carolena Nericcio e Fat Chance Belly Dance (San Francisco, USA), ma presentata con un particolare sapore Mediterraneo nella scelta musicale, specialmente con l'uso della tradizione popolare italiana. Le performance di Carovana Tribale celebrano la gioia del danzare insieme! Is the first troupe teaching and performing authentic American Tribal Style in Italy. The company's work is solely based on ATS created by Carolena Nericcio and Fat Chance Belly Dance from San Francisco (USA), though it is presented with particular flavors of Mediterranean music, especially from Southern Italian traditions. Carovana Tribale's performances celebrate the joy of dancing together!
